Counts differ because each database indexes a different set of publications. We treat OpenAlex as the canonical count; Google Scholar is not shown (no API, and crawling it violates its ToS).
AIV Standard v1 sets the requirements any system must follow to estimate Action Impact Value (AIV): the value of a human action, judged by its consequences for the people it reaches. It defines how an action statement and its context are recorded, including urgency and importance (after Covey's four quadrants) and subject priority within a named Big Question set; how a statement is read for direction, reach (1–7) and strength (1–5); nine rating rules; the provisional, versioned formula that turns a reading into Avalrem on a scale from −100 to +100, with harm always kept apart from benefit; records and provenance; evaluation on held-out statements; privacy, consent and deletion; and three conformance levels. KirV AI is the reference system. This version is a draft for public comment. It builds on the AIV white paper (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23720670).
