Summary. In today’s digital world, language is no longer shaped solely by human authors but increasingly by artificial intelligence (AI) systems. While these technologies enhance communication and efficiency, they also raise concerns about manipulation, bias, and misinformation. Media plays a pivotal role in shaping how information is interpreted through strategic use of language and framing. This article explores how AI-generated content and media narratives together influence modern discourse, affect public perception, and raise critical ethical questions. By examining real-life examples and theoretical insights, the paper highlights the urgent need to develop critical media and AI literacy in educational systems. This is essential to equip citizens with tools to analyze, question, and resist linguistic manipulation in an increasingly digital society. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Media Framing, Discourse, Critical Literacy, Manipulation
