Counts differ because each database indexes a different set of publications. We treat OpenAlex as the canonical count; Google Scholar is not shown (no API, and crawling it violates its ToS).
This paper investigates the application of the international Universal Dependencies (UD) framework in developing a syntactically annotated treebank for the Uzbek language. Given the agglutinative and morphologically rich nature of Uzbek, a structured three-tier annotation methodology—encompassing Universal Parts-of-Speech (UPOS), Morphological Features (FEATS), and Dependency Relations (DEPREL) within the CoNLL-U format—is proposed. This standardized methodology establishes a foundational linguistic resource for training neural machine translation architectures and automated dependency parsers.
