Supporting data for a systematic literature review of generative AI applied to information retrieval in manufacturing. The deposit contains the search strategy as executed in Web of Science, Scopus and IEEE Xplore on 19 May 2026; the independent screening decisions of both reviewers for all 455 retrieved records; the quality-assessment scores of the 33 included studies; the completed data-extraction form; and the evidence matrix coding each included study against nine sociotechnical characteristics. Full texts of the reviewed studies are not included; each is identified by DOI. See README.md for the file manifest, the coding scheme and known issues in the source data.
