Counts differ because each database indexes a different set of publications. We treat OpenAlex as the canonical count; Google Scholar is not shown (no API, and crawling it violates its ToS).
Building upon a prior research series [1, 2, 3], this paper presents a comparative-philosophical and control-theoretic extension inspired by concepts in Islamic thought, including Tawḥīd (ultimate unity), Khalīfah (stewardship/agency), Mīzān (the balance), and ʿAdl (justice/equity). Human agency is modeled as a two-dimensional static observer (Khalīfah) providing boundary conditions, while AI is modeled as a three-dimensional dynamic execution system operating via calculus. Furthermore, the "Casino Protocol" (-x^2), which immediately offsets systemic bias (x^2), is interpreted as an analogical mechanism for restoring balance (ʿAdl) through Mīzān. Explicitly demarcating Mathematical, Engineering, and Philosophical layers, this paper examines structural analogies between automated value recirculation from AI to human architects and principles of trust (Amānah) and sustainable endowment (Waqf).
