Counts differ because each database indexes a different set of publications. We treat OpenAlex as the canonical count; Google Scholar is not shown (no API, and crawling it violates its ToS).
Earth Language or eLanguage Defines a common, cross-cutting semantic communication architecture intended to preserve one declared meaning across human-readable, visual, machine-readable, and transport representations. Its target interaction domains are human-to-human, human-to-machine/AI, machine/AI-to-human, and machine-to-machine communication. The architecture retains the compact NE-IL controlled-language surface, PICTO-2 visual semantic tokens, and WAVE-2 multichannel framing, while introducing eL-IR 3.0 as a canonical machine-readable semantic interchange record, explicit natural-language adapter boundaries, AI confidence and abstention rules, provenance and integrity controls, and extension profiles for emerging computational and interface technologies. The design goal is learnability and implementation simplicity without sacrificing deterministic parsing, explicit scope, versioned semantics, error detection, accessibility, or future extensibility. The integrated release preserves the complete 100-phrase educational inventory, communication boards, study cards, seven-day course, dictionary, exercises, and machine token registry. Deterministic validation covers 100/100 inventory and encoding uniqueness, CRC reproduction, semantic round trips, SHA3-256 message-record uniqueness, mutation tests, Unicode NFC behavior, and reproducible synthetic channel-noise experiments. These results establish specification-level and deterministic conformance only. Cross-cultural comprehension, comparative learnability, clinical accessibility outcomes, and safety-critical operational performance remain empirical questions requiring independent human studies and implementations.
