Addressing the civilizational challenges of autonomous Artificial Intelligence (AI) encroaching upon domains of human meaning and degrading human agency, this paper highlights the limitations of conventional normative ethical guidelines (soft law) and proposes a novel framework: Human-Centric Structuralism. This approach deterministically embeds the three core elements of human dignity—(1) Contextual Meaning-Making, (2) Intentional Decision-Making, and (3) Assumption of Responsibility for Choices Made—as hard architectural constraints at the OS/hypervisor layers and network protocol levels. The paper outlines a complete system architecture including: Active Audit Trail: Mandatory multi-option contrast presentation and compulsory entry of reasoning before enabling the Sign-off UI. Read-Only Safety Core: Hard-coded top-level directives preventing semantic hacking or self-reinterpretation by AI models. Logical Out-of-Band (OOB) Control & Kernel-Level Interruption: Network isolation preventing reverse access, combined with a Watchdog Daemon capable of issuing immediate SIGSTOP/SIGKILL All-Freeze commands across all autonomous AI agents. Global Root Authority: System resumption strictly bound to cryptographic signatures and time-stamped authorization by the human supervisor. This work establishes a verifiable systems engineering foundation ensuring human judgment remains the absolute, irreversible anchor in the AI era.
