This paper explores the AI’s transformative effect on crime prevention, highlighting its ability to enhance decision-making, improve surveillance, and streamline investigations. While the adoption of AI holds significant promise for reducing crime rates and improving public safety, it also raises critical concerns related to privacy, ethical use, along with algorithmic biases. Addressing these challenges requires robust legal frameworks, ethical guidelines, and collaborative efforts between law enforcement, policymakers, and technology developers. The purpose of this study is to shed light on how AI-driven smart policing can create safer communities while ensuring accountability and fairness in its implementation. The researcher will conduct their work in a doctrinal manner. The main aim of the researcher is to analyze the way AI-driven technologies can be effective in prevention of Crime. Finally, the researcher will offer recommendations and a conclusion.
