Counts differ because each database indexes a different set of publications. We treat OpenAlex as the canonical count; Google Scholar is not shown (no API, and crawling it violates its ToS).
Google's Open Knowledge Format has no relationship files. A markdown link is untyped and one-directional. This frozen 16-item retrieval pilot on the Wyoming Title 6 criminal-code slice (264 nodes) measures what a consumer can do with an explicit typed relationship layer that a flat OKF reader cannot: list recorded neighbours, and report “no recorded connection” as a finding. Citation lookup saturates without that layer. Grepping a domain-wide edge file is not the NKB retrieval protocol; per-node neighbor files recover lookup and neighbourhood. Retrieve-time 6Q is not claimed. The deposited relationship mapping is named on TXu 2-562-276. Sibling to 10.5281/zenodo.21861595 and 10.5281/zenodo.21613674.
